Our knowledge hubs provide practical guides to drive sustainable practices and decarbonisation in healthcare.
The care pathways knowledge hub offers the tools, evidence and community needed to understand and reduce the environmental impact of clinical care. It aims to promote adoption and amplification of leading practices for decarbonising care pathways, by bringing together insights from everyone working across the healthcare sector.
The primary aim of this work is to establish a consistent methodology for appraising sustainability across various healthcare services. By doing so, we also aim to create a robust evidence base that can be routinely used in evaluating care pathways.
Through collaborative development and dissemination of guidance and methodology, we aim increase sustainability in clinical trial operations and the supply chain.
The hub enables a diverse range of stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, industry partners and regulatory bodies, to share leading practice and foster a culture where clinical trials are sustainable by design.
By working together, we can lower the carbon emissions from clinical trials, reduce the environmental impact of healthcare research and mitigate climate change.
